Rattling after 18 months
I bought this air purifier in October of 2020 and loved it. It is great white noise for sleeping at night. Easy to use and easy to change/replace the filter. Downside the filters are pricey. After about 18 months there is a loud rattling coming from the fan. I tried tightening screws and replacing the filter. There is only a one year warranty that comes with it, only 1 year for a reason. I contacted customer service and they were unable to assist or replace it. This air purifier should last longer than. 18 months for the cost.

So far it’s been a horrible decision to purchase this item. I called the customer service number and was told I needed to go through the dealer I bought it from. I went through all the hoops to register my item and was then told to go back to customer service (Merry Go Round). I have been following up via message / email from morning star web page. I bought 2 , they both have a high pitch sound and one of the 2 after 2 hours of use it started making a clunking sound. I contacted Miko David at Miko customer service was combative and argumentative but in the end I got a return label he said has soon as ups scan the return label they will send the replacement out. 4 days later I called customer service at Miko and David said they didn’t send the replacement out because they lost/misplaced the label. I don’t recommend this air purifier and this Miko brand.

I did a ton of research on this air purifier to make sure it did not produce ozone. The listings on SideDeal, Amazon and the Miko site said it didn’t produce ozone and was a HEPA filter only product. Upon receiving it, it mentioned ionizing properties – which is exactly what produces ozone. Upon contacting the company, I didn’t receive any response.
