Keep It Covered
Adulting is hard. It’s really a terrible shame how so many good things are ruined by adult responsibilities. Back in the day, I bet you were eating your hot dogs and hamburgers fresh off the grill without a care in the world. Now you are planning ahead to make sure you have charcoal or gas in the tank, mixing up just the right marinade, and scraping off the grate at the end of night. If you are really good you might even be covering your grill after it cools down.
If you are skipping this step, I am here to tell you it makes a big difference. Covering your grill, especially over the winter months, can add years to its life. And as an adult, that’s really what it’s all about right? When you are the one earning the money and buying the things, it’s nice when you take the effort to make them last as long as possible. And it really isn’t all that difficult. Plus there are some good things about being an adult, like the after dinner drink you can sip on while waiting on the grill to cool so you can cover it up with this nice grill cover.
