The food processor is a perfect tool for a creamy hummus.
Makes 2 cups
Approximate preparation time: 10 minutes
¼ Cup Fresh Italian Parsley
½ Teaspoon Grated Lemon Zest
½ Teaspoon Kosher Salt
1 Garlic Clove
2 Cans (15 Ounces Each) Chickpeas, Drained
2 Tablespoons Tahini
2 Tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
2½ Tablespoons Water
½ Teaspoon Ground Cumin
2 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
(1.)Insert the large metal chopping blade into the large work bowl of the Cuisinart® Food Processor.
(2.) Process the parsley, lemon zest, salt, and garlic together, about 6 seconds. Scrape bowl and repeat.
(3.) Add remaining ingredients and process until smooth, about 1 minute. Scrape bowl and process again to fully incorporate all ingredients.
