So Far It Works Well
This Wonder Rechargeable neck fan has five settings. While it does not blow AC cold air, any cool air blown directly onto your neck, lower ears, and just behind your ears is pleasantly received on days there isn't much of a breeze going on outside. I tested mine out when it was around 88° outside and quite humid. The air blowing on me was a pleasant welcome. I will take note of this again, when we get dewpoints that are low on hot days. That will make a difference as the air is not as saturated with moisture and I'll probably feel more coolness blowing onto me. The power of the device is very good. With that 88° temperature that I mentioned earlier, I was fine with the power level just on 1! All the levels are good for circulating air around your neck/head. Levels 2 - 3 are very breezy, and while levels 4 - 5 are stronger, on a hot day, it will not necessarily cool you down any more than levels 1 - 3. This is good for saving on that battery life as well. One other note I will make, keep in mind, the higher the level, the more audible output there will be in close proximity to your ears. While it's not excruciating, it may slightly hinder your ability to hear everything around you in your environment. That begins around level 3. Overall, I'm pleased with the device, and hope that you will as well should you decide to get it a try.
