Up Your Cool Factor with Aviators
We know, we know, it is still winter, at least here in the Northern Hemisphere. We are all craving that Vitamin D, and the sun is slowly creeping up in the sky, but it’s still doing that awkward glare thing, and the melting remnants of snow and ice really don’t help.
That’s why it’s the perfect time of year to be thinking about new sunglasses. Where is your pair from last summer anyway? Don’t fuss over the latest trends — stick with something classic and timeless, like the original style: Aviators.
Fun fact, aviators originally replaced old-timey pilot’s goggles, because, ya know, pilots gotta look good too! But really to help with that glare thing. They were lighter and less cumbersome, and so slick everyone wanted a pair. Aviators became the first style of sunglasses to catch on with the general public. (Thank goodness, otherwise we might all be wearing pilot’s goggles and have red circle impressions around our eyes when we head indoors. The only person that can pull that off well is a pilot from the 1920’s.)
