Sharpens dull blades
I was able to sharpen a 10 year old blade in less than 10 minutes. Very simple instruction - 3 ways to sharpen - coarse/fine/polish. As simple as how much force + direction you hold the blade. As a professional chef who’s sharpened blades on stones, diamond steels, stationary sharpening stations, and had professional sharpeners with grinding wheels - this sharpener is the easiest to use for beginners, quicker than any other sharpening method I’ve used, and a very nice looking counter piece. I can say i’ve gotten blades sharper with other methods, but I’ve only spent ~5 minutes using the item so far - I’m sure with experience, it’ll become the only sharpener I use.

It’s OK, it sharpens, not as sharp as my tri-stone, but the test of time will determine if it holds up.
