Protection... From You
Okay, before we get to today’s offer, we want to pitch an idea for a product: a cotton rain slicker! Pretty cool, right? Like, cotton is way softer than Gortex. And it’s a bit more stylish, too. And it’s not as shiny and swishy. Honestly, the only issue is that, you know, it doesn’t protect you from rain.
Oh, does that sound ridiculous?
We agree. And yet, this is basically what we all do to our mattresses. Only there is no actual rainstorm. Instead, we are the rainstorm. We get a little cool, so we turn off the air conditioning or pull up the blankets, and next thing we know, we’re waking up at 4am, our pillows and our bedding soaked with perspiration.
And the only thing protecting our mattress is a thin sheet.
Unless, of course, we have one of these mattress protectors. Not only is it hypoallergenic; it’s also waterproof–100% bamboo–so that we don’t need to worry about our mattress acting as a giant sponge. And when it’s time for the pad to be cleaned, we can just toss it in the washing machine.
Why, you could say, with a pad like this, a dry mattress is no sweat!
