You can’t use your hand to hold the hair against the brush. It’s too hot. The buttons were positioned right where you have to hold it so I kept accidentally turning it off. It left my hair with a weird smell. It is a good product but not for me.

I was SO excited for this product, because I usually use a regular flat iron straightener, so I thought it would be much easier to just run the heated brush through my hair to straighten it. Well, the bristles are very short, and thick and close together which pulls at my hair much more than a regular straightener. I used it for the first time today, and literally a hand-full of my hair came out, even though I combed it through first with a regular comb and it wasn’t tangled. Another problem is the temperature setting. It’s located on the handle and the buttons are very sensitive, so the whole time you are using the device, the heat temperature is going up and down, up and down. It’s NOTHING like I thought it would be. I’m so disappointed, and I hope I don’t lose anymore hair using it!
