The Vision
How does such a fantastic shower head get created?
It starts with the vision of Edward J. Notilus. A whole decade before the release of the NOTILUS Antimicrobial 3-in-1 rain shower spa combo, he wrote in his journals about the shortcomings of the traditional shower: “Why do we think we can outdo Mother Nature? Why do we think our dull, endless streams of water are superior to Her ever-changing storms? Members of the human race are supposed to possess minds for creating art, and yet, when it comes to our hygienic chambers, we seek not beauty but a bland consistency.”
Another journal entry showed two sketches. To the uninformed eye, they might appear as idle doodles, but if one reads further into his papers, it becomes clear that they are drawings of a cloud-like flying machine and what Notilus called a “cloud-processing facility.”
Notilus’s plan went as follows: he would created the flying machine that appeared to be a cloud, so that he could fly it into a large storm cloud and go unnoticed. He would spend several hours moving with the cloud, so that his flying machine could acclimate. Once this was achieved, he would begin his descent. The true cloud, having adhered itself to the flying machine, would follow.
When he landed in the cloud-processing facility, the cloud would be cut into smaller clouds. These would then be sold in department stores and trained by their owners to rain on command. “It will be like a floating puppy made of pure vapor,” Notilus wrote in his journal.
And that’s how the NOTILUS Antimicrobial 3-in-1 rain shower spa combo came to be!
(To clarify: it came to be because the above plan was such an incredible failure that Notilus had no choice but to go back to his office and design a pretty standard but still above-average shower head.)
