Stocking Up
Emptying a stocking on Christmas morning is always a fun experience, because nobody gets their hopes super high for something wild in a stocking. You sort of expect treats and small things, you know?
It’s almost a subconscious thing, to not expect much from the smaller stuff. There’s a reason “bigger is better” is such a common phrase, despite receiving constant denial from seemingly everybody.
But I feel like nobody’s ever really upset when they pour or fish out the contents of a stocking. It’s just a fun time, no matter what’s inside. Even better is when there are unexpected things inside. The things you didn’t think of before they slid out. The things you forgot you asked for. The things you might end up using every day, might become invaluable.
We’ve gathered some of these things and put them into a “stocking” of our own. We hope you will in turn find someone else’s stocking to stuff them in.
