The Power Of Being Prepared
We sell a lot of power banks. You’ve probably noticed that. Here’s why:
The power bank is something that solves a problem that already has a solution. At least that’s what you think. You look at this iWalk Duo 2.0 3000mAh Power Bank and you understand, on some level, its utility. You see its built in Lightning and USB Type-C cables, allowing you to charge iPhones and Samsung devices alike, and you say to yourself, “Oh, that could be useful… for someone else.”
But not you. No way. Why would you need a power bank? You charge your phone! Maybe it gets into the red on occasion, but it’ll never get so bad that you have to worry it’s going to die before you make it into the office, or home, or anywhere else where charging options abound. That’s why you don’t need a power bank; because you’re not so careless as a lot of these other people.
But one of these days it might happen. Maybe you’ll be taking a trip and the plane you’re on will be old enough not to have outlets or USB ports. And maybe you’ll depart from your gate only for a thunderstorm to ground all flights, so now you’re just out there on the tarmac anxiously awaiting your takeoff. And maybe you kill some time listening to an audiobook and playing a game, thus slowly draining your battery until you’re at 20% and there’s still a 4 hour flight ahead of you. Which means you’re faced with the sad prospect of ending an already terrible travel day squatting next to an outlet at your destination, just so your phone can get enough power to turn on so you can call an Uber.
Or something like that. Point is: there might be a day when you, prepared as you usually are, find yourself without outlet and a dying phone. And the more power banks we sell, the more likely that day is today.
