Rugged but dressy looking at the same time. External pockets are sewn together so they’re able to expand an inch or so. Doesn’t sound like much but it gives you quite a bit more room. The inside was really a surprise. It looks like a rugged form of satin. Awesome! Don’t let that fool you this thing was well planned out. Plenty of pockets and room all the way around. It looks & feels like it could handle anything you throw at it. Never thought I would rave about a backpack. They’ve just been tools for me to beat the heck out of. This one looks and feels like a top grade, high quality, working addition to your active lifestyle. I love it! Believe me, that’s a first for backpack!..LOL
