Go Away
It’s Free Comic Book Day! Elsewhere.
Before you do anything else you should go here to find shop near you that’s participating.
Did you do it?
Really?
If there is a shop near you, you should make a plan to go there today. It’s fun! And you might meet some other people like you who are interested in comic books but aren’t exactly “comic book shop folk” the other 364 days of the year.
Did you make a plan?
Really?
OK, great. Now we can talk about what we’re selling, which adheres to the “comic book” spirit of Free Comic Book Day, but not the “free” or “local” parts. The ones we’re selling are super cheap, for sure, and hopefully they will whet your appetite for certain series that you can then buy at your local comic book store.
Here’s an example of what you might get:
They’re a random smattering of comic books from various publishers and decades for less than a buck apiece, plus some weird random collectible cards (not pictured). But you’re not going to receive them for a while, whereas you can get a free comic book immediately by driving or walking to a local comic book joint.
Happy Free Comic Book Day everybody! Now stop sitting in front of your computer and go outside (briefly, before entering the dim sanctuary of the store).
