The Light That's Just Right
Okay, friends: it’s November 7th. The gauntlet of ornately carved Jack-o-Lanterns illuminating the walkway from the sidewalk to your front porch was great this year, but it’s time to let go.
That being said, we did just set our clocks back. Which means, now more than ever, you could use a little glow out there. Not a spotlight, obviously; just something so you can be sure your guests don’t roll an ankle while putting on foot in front of the other en route to your house for a Friendsgiving or a holiday party or what have you.
So you might consider buying this 6-pack of Malibu Calypso Solar-Charging LED Pathway Lights. They look nice in the daylight with their gunmetal matte finish, and each one comes with a removable, rechargeable AA battery inside allowing for 2 lumens of warm light. That’s just enough illumination to guide your way, but not enough that you need to draw the blackout curtains at night.
And at $12, that’s just $2 per light. Or $1 per lumen of output if you want to get real technical. Not bad, huh?
