I received a life pro tip several years ago, that more than any other I’ve grown to appreciate. Throw away all your socks, go to Costco and buy several packs of Kirkland black dress socks, and discard/replace as needed.
Life is precious. Do not waste one more second sorting socks. Socks are collected like french fries and placed individually in a lot into a drawer. Do the same for underwear. Do the same for undershirts.
In all my years, no success in my job, relationships, or promotions have had anything to do with the socks, shirts, underwear I wear.
These fancy Meh socks are a tax on your life’s time with no measurable benefit. Simplify.
@Kyser_Soze@Michaelforman I am with you. I buy the black Gold Toe socks in 12-15 whenever I see them on sale. My shoe size is 11 but I find the larger sized socks are much more comfortable. The 6-12 thing is bullshit, especially if you have wide feet.
I hope everyone here would agree that if wearing more than black socks 100% of the time brings you joy, then you should do that. No one has ever noticed or taken joy in the lack of a conscious decision. It’s okay to value the absence of a choice, but don’t project that value onto others as a virtue.
Oh god no. Maybe if one of the selections were all BLACK. I wear these socks but only BLACK. All the same so it’s no worries (& it’s actually difficult to tell) if one goes missing. Matching socks for a better life!
@outdoorslife good points… some of the meh pics show a Goldtoe band on the sock packs, some of the socks on the website don’t have gold toes, just the gold stitching… so who knows? Are they counterfeit ??
But either way the size issue is definitely a problem, even if they do say “Men’s” !
